Epilators are so much more convenient than having to shave. Just like plucking your eyebrows, there is a little bit of pain involved, but with time, you’ll get used to it. As someone who has tried to use a cheap, generic epilator from the drugstore, I can tell you that this epilator is worth every penny! Panasonic ES-ED90-P Wet And Dry Epilator
The design of this epilator is a thing of beauty. The 48 tweezers are extremely precise and are designed to quickly grip and pluck the hairs easily, which also makes the whole process less painful.
The main epilator head is perfect for use on larger areas like legs and arms, while the smaller epilation head is designed for use on underarms and the bikini line. One of the downsides to the Panasonic ES-ED90-P is that it’s not recommended for the face.

Wet and Dry Epilation
One of the things that I disliked about my cheap, former epilator was that it could only be used dry. Not this baby! You can use this one wet or dry. It’s totally waterproof, which makes it ideal to use with some warm water and a bit of shower gel if you like to lounge around in the bathtub like I do. And yes, it’s cordless, so you don’t need to worry about confining yourself to a tiny area by the power outlet just to remove some unwanted body hair.
The battery takes just one hour to charge and will give you up to 30 minutes of use, which I’ve found to be more than enough time to do my legs and underarms.
Dual Speed Settings
The Panasonic ES-ED90-P has two-speed settings that are so easy to work with. I like to go slower when I’m using it on sensitive areas like the underarms and bikini area, while I’ll use the faster setting for my legs and arms. The built-in LED light illuminates the skin to detect any fine or stray hairs easily. Gone are the days when I would be mortified to discover a patch of skin that I, ahem, missed!
Smooth Pivot Head
And, I haven’t even told you about my favorite feature yet! The smooth pivot epilator head is made to glide along the skin and follow the natural contours of your body. It pivots 30 degrees forward and 30 degrees backward, which I absolutely love because I can get a clean, smooth finish without bending over backward to get to those hard-to-reach areas like the backs of my calves.

Six Attachments for Hair Removal and Foot Care
The Panasonic ES-ED90-P epilator comes with 6 attachments. Let me give you a quick breakdown of these. There’s the main epilator head, which, as you already know, I love because of how easily it pivots. Then, there’s the gentle epilator cap and the beginner epilator cap, which can be used to limit the number of tweezers that are exposed, which could make epilating a little easier for beginners or those with sensitive skin. The smaller epilation head is great for use on delicate areas like the underarms and bikini line and helps to prevent skin pinching.
Shaver Head Attachment
If you’re in a hurry and don’t have time to epilate, the shaver head attachment is great for doing quick touch ups to your legs or underarms. The shaver head has been designed to cut the hair quickly and smoothly while protecting your skin from irritation. The shaver head also comes with a bikini comb that is perfect trimming that sensitive area. The bikini comb attachment can also be used to trim down any longer hairs before you start epilating.
Here’s a tip, using an epilator is a lot less painful when the hairs are short. You also have less chance of the hairs breaking off which means that your skin will feel a lot smoother and the hair won’t grow back as fast. Pedicure Buffer Attachment
Another great addition to the Panasonic ES-ED90-P epilator is the pedicure buffer attachment. It works surprisingly well and is totally pain-free to use, which is great when you’ve got a little rough skin that you need to fix in a hurry, and there’s no time for a full pedicure.

Panasonic ES-ED90-P VS Other Epilators
Honestly, while there are a lot of benefits to using this epilator, there are a few minor flaws worth noting.
Firstly, Panasonic does not recommend using this epilator on your face. This is a little disappointing considering a lot of other epilators on the market, including the Braun Silk-epil 9, come with special caps or attachments that have been designed specifically for facial hair removal.
Another complaint that a lot of users have with this epilator is that you can’t use it while it’s plugged in. This is a common safety feature with most wet/dry epilators and helps to protect against electric shock if the device is accidentally placed in water while the cord is still attached. While this can be a nuisance for some, it’s definitely not a deal breaker.
